Michael Redmon delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Declan O’neal did his part, adding 3 assists. Brandon Holt contributed with 2 goals.
During the first period, Redmon opened the scoring for Nashville with a goal at 14:44 with helpers from his teammates Hanebrink and O’neal. Redmon netted a goal at 19:44 with a helper from defenseman O’neal.
In the second, Holt finally put Dayton on the board with a goal at 6:27. Chasles answered for the Jr. Predators with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:54 with an assist from defenseman O’neal.
In the third period, Tirey scored a goal at 1:29 with a helper from his linemate Redmon. Meagher deposited a goal at 4:56 with assists from Hrebik and Howell. Holt answered for Dayton with a goal at 11:23.
Nashville’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Silver’s big night as he stopped 35 of the 37 shots he faced. Silver’s counterpart, Vanwinkle, also had a big night, managing to stop 31 of 36, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Nashville Jr. Predators’ record to (1-0-1-0).
